About Sanskruti Manchester
What is Sanskruti?
“Sanskruti” which means Tradition or Culture has been derived from the word ‘Sanskrit’ which is believed to be world’s oldest language and being originated in India. India is a nation with diverse cultures and enriched with a variety of religion, language, custom and dress. It is also a ‘melting pot’ of various ethnic cuisines, nutritiously complete in themselves yet so diverse in taste, methodology, flavour and presentation.
We believe nothing represents India more than its classical cuisine and vibrant culture, which we express in each of our dishes. We offer a wide variety of choices, many of which you are unlikely to find at any other restaurant in Manchester. We only use the freshest of ingredients in all of our dishes, offering a vegan and vegetarian menu that traverses the Indian sub-continent: from the ‘Thalis’ of Gujarat to the ‘Dosas’ of South India and from the ‘Chaats’ of Mumbai to the rich, unforgettable taste of North Indian curries.
At Sanskruti, our meals are prepared with the belief that Indian food is not only about heat but also about the perfect marriage of aromatic herbs and spices. Our menu is as diverse and colourful as the continent itself. As a pure vegetarian and vegan restaurant, we leave no room for mistakes in the preparation of your dish, as we are committed to providing the best quality of food.
Unique to Manchester, we cater for all taste requirements: from the mild and medium dishes for a family night out to hot and sizzling dishes perfect to kick-start any celebration. We promise an experience like no other; not only in our vegan and vegetarian cooking but also in our service. We are fully licensed so you can sit back and enjoy a cold pint of beer or a glass of wine whilst you take in the atmosphere and enjoy all that is Sanskruti.
