Delicious Indian Yoghurt Mint Sauce Recipe (Vegan or Vegetarian)

There are many variations to this sauce, here is one of the versions we like for home cooking.
Yoghurt mint sauce is a delicious and flavourful dipping sauce that is incredibly easy and quick to make with minimal ingredients. This cool and refreshing sauce makes a perfect accompaniment for kebabs, samosa and tandoori starters.
This recipe can easily be made vegan by using unsweetened soya yoghurt (for example, Alpro yoghurt) to replace the dairy yoghurt.
Ingredients
Fresh Mint Leaves: Β½ cup, finely chopped
Yoghurt: 1 cup.
Green Chilli: 1, finely chopped (optional)
Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp
Ground Cumin: Β½ tsp
Sugar: a pinch
Salt: as required
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.
Taste and adjust salt to taste.
Serve delicious sauce with tandoori starters or samosa.
Notes
You can store the sauce in an air tight container for up to a week in refrigerator.
Do not skip lemon juice as it enhances the flavour of the sauce.
Adjust mint leaves based on how strong mint flavour you need.
