This simple curry makes a quick midweek dinner and a delicious accompaniment for any flatbreads and rice.
The measurements used are 1 cup =250ml and 1 tbsp =15ml.
Canned chickpeas has been used to make cooking process faster. If you plan to use dried chickpeas, soak them in water overnight and cook in pressure cooker until soft.
Drain the liquid from the tin and wash chickpeas well and then use them in this recipe. 1 tin (400gms) yields 240gms chickpeas after discarding the liquid.
