Yoghurt mint sauce is a delicious and flavourful dipping sauce that is incredibly easy and quick to make with minimal ingredients. This cool and refreshing sauce makes a perfect accompaniment for kebabs, samosa and tandoori starters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This recipe can easily be made vegan by using unsweetened soya yoghurt (for example, Alpro yoghurt) to replace the dairy yoghurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ingredients<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Fresh Mint Leaves: \u00bd cup, finely chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yoghurt: 1 cup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Green Chilli: 1, finely chopped (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ground Cumin: \u00bd tsp<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sugar: a pinch<\/p>\n\n\n\n Salt: as required<\/p>\n\n\n\n Instructions<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Taste and adjust salt to taste. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Serve delicious sauce with tandoori starters or samosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Notes<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You can store the sauce in an air tight container for up to a week in refrigerator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do not skip lemon juice as it enhances the flavour of the sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Adjust mint leaves based on how strong mint flavour you need.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" There are many variations to this sauce, here is one of the versions we like for home cooking.
