When The Sunday Times listed us among the 25 best vegetarian restaurants in the country, it was a moment we’ll never forget. But the review, as brilliant as it was, could only capture part of what makes Sanskruti what it is. It couldn’t show the kitchen prep, the spices we import directly from India every single week, the decades of family recipes behind every dish, or the fact that our menu travels the entire Indian subcontinent, from the thalis of Gujarat to the dosas of South India to the chaats of Mumbai, all under one roof, all vegetarian, all made properly.
And, most importantly, it couldn’t show the people behind it all.
Brad, Shreya, and the entire team work every day to make every guest feel at home from the moment they walk through our doors.
Over the years, we’ve been honoured to be recognised by The Guardian, named UK Vegetarian Restaurant of the Year at the Nation's Curry Awards for two consecutive years, and nominated among the Top 50 Vegan Restaurants in the World.
But the recognition that means the most?
